Tracy G reviewed: Beautiful Bookbinding

"I enjoyed a wonderful day with Fiona, I’ve wanted to learn bookbinding for a while and Fiona delivered. We made 2 different bound books during a full day. Fiona was patient, thorough and took the time to make sure we understood every step of the process. I came away with 2 beautiful notebooks and so much confidence. I have already purchased the book Fiona recommended and a few small items to start making my own books. Thanks Fiona, it was a fun and informative day. "

Earthwise Ecoprints responded:

"Thank you very much for your lovely review Tracy. I am so pleased you enjoyed your day and hope you are justifiably proud of the fabulous books you made. "

Ruth Kirkham reviewed: Beginners Silk Painting

"We really enjoyed beginners silk painting. We were provided with everything we needed and spent a couple of very relaxing hours painting our chosen pictures. It felt like we had achieved something when we saw our finished paintings and are actually quite proud of them. The concentration needed is a great way to switch off from the worries of day to day life. We are returning for another workshop this week."

Caroline Clark reviewed: Hare Sculpture workshop with Jo Garden Art in beautiful Norfolk/Suffolk

"Fantastic workshop, thoroughly enjoyed myself and would highly recommend. When I first looked at the wire that I was to build my hare on I thought I'd never be able to do it. But with Jo's guidance, I made a hare that I was proud of and I had the confidence to buy a kit to bring home to make another one."

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thank you Caroline - the bare wire armatures can look a bit daunting, but it's amazing how quickly they change 🤗. I hope you have enjoyed making your kit at home. Jo xx"

Louise reviewed: Pottery:- Greenman/ pottery / Clay Building

"A thoroughly enjoyable morning spent with lovely people. Amina was welcoming and instructed with patience and humour. The time went by so quickly which, for me, is a sign that I have had a good time. Not seen the finished result yet but in a way that’s the least important part of the experience as we learned techniques to enable us to dabble independently. Thank you Amina"

A.S.K Art & Pottery Gallery & Studio responded:

"Thanks for the lovely comments Louise. It was a joy to meet you and Aly, you really made me giggle. Looking forward to seeing the results when the green man has been fired."

Rob Taylor reviewed: Woodturning Experience Days - Come and spend a day turning your first bowl

"I attended the woodturning course at the weekend, I made 2 bowls that I am very proud of and Stephen couldn't have been a better teacher. From the off he was very welcoming with fresh coffee and a chat about objectives and background. We then got to the lathe and started with a short demo and then over to me. It was hugely rewarding seeing the bowls take shape and although I have done some woodworking in the past and the patience and tactility of using the lathe was something different altogether. Stephen helped advise on finishes, sanding and equipment and give me a huge amount of confidence in tackling my own projects. A hugely enjoyable day and I would recommend to anyone."

Bodden Cross Studio responded:

"Thank you Rob. A pleasure working with you and please remember to keep asking the questions about lathes, tools etc. Best wishes Stephen"

"A five star experience for sure. My teenage friend and I had a fantastic day. Just waiting for the stools to be dry enough to sand so we can enjoy using our handiwork."

"Thanks Anne. Glad you enjoyed the day😊"

Gwenda reviewed: Young teen with adult, silver jewellery special - what will YOU make?

"My daughter and I had a lovely Adult and Teen day yesterday with Vivien. My best friend gave us the day as a gift and I'm very grateful. Vivien is a brilliant and inspiring teacher and coach. She is also great company and we really enjoyed our conversations as well as learning new skills and making our treasured pieces of jewellery. We made a beaten rings (which look professionally made, fit perfectly and catch the light just like in the course picture). Vivien also helped my daughter to personalise her rings and taught us how to work with sea glass and shells. I woke up on Mother's Day to a gorgeous set of new shell jewellery my daughter madec at home last night after our class. It was a beautiful day and we will be back. Thank you Vivien xx"
