Description
Create a barn owl swooping over your garden - built on a steel frame. This popular workshop will have participants making a Barn owl that appears to fly across the lawn/pond or field. Alison will happily talk through your ideas as to how you wish to support your owl, before you get started. We can suspend your owl sculptures on a mild steel frame, which you will help form at the start of the workshop. the steel rod (6ft) and the specially designed clamp that sits under the owl can be purchased (cash please) on the day at an additional cost of £20. Working in brown willow (willow that has been dried with its bark on, then soaked to make it pliable to weave without breaking), you will have time to make a large bird (wing span of approx 4-5 foot).
