"The Next Level" Spoon Carving Workshop

Join Fazey Woodcraft for 'The Next Level' spoon carving workshop.

Designed for those who already have some experience and want to improve their carving skills.

This workshop will focus on adding 'crank' or bends to spoons, an essential skill to create spoons that function well and look great.

Focus on the way to add crank, as well as improving axe technique, will be the main subject of the day.

Also covered will be:
- Spoon Design & Ergonomics for function and strength
- Smooth finishing cuts on dry wood
- Tool maintenance & sharpening

Participant numbers are limited to 5 students per course. This is to ensure each student will receive 1 on 1 tuition throughout the day to perfect these new skills.

All students will also be given some lovely, fresh carving wood to take home at the end of the course to carry on practising their newly found skills.

Please note this workshop is only suitable for those with some prior experience of carving with an axe. If unsure don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your current skill level.

An excellent day course for those wanting to progress their carving skills.
Jack is a patient and calm instructor with a wealth of experience and seems to enjoy sharing this information.
Courses for intermediates can be challenging due to the varied levels of experience and skill, but Jack managed this really well, ensure everyone on the day gained a lot from it.
Excellent, comfortable and homely workshop with plenty of space and light.
Overall a great experience and I hope to do another session in the future.

Response from Fazey Woodcraft:

Thanks Keith! I'm glad to hear it met with your expectations!
