Meet and Make Textiles in the afternoon (four weeks)

The informal weekly afternoon drop in 'Meet and Make Textiles' is re- starting Thursday 7th September. Facilitated by Josephine of Phinefibre. This booking is for four drop ins with flexible attendance over the Autumn term. Bring along your own textile based project felting, needlework, needle felting, crochet, mending, your ideas, learn and share from each other. Maybe something you have started on one of my workshops or anothers that you would like to finish. Chat and enjoy a beverage in a lovely, warm and friendly studio. Situated in the beautiful heritage building that is the Birchcliffe Centre in Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire This cost of £20 is for four weeks over the next term. You don't have to attend every week just when you can. Please note this a not a taught class, I will facilitate and plan to do a teaching session once a month for which there will may be an small additional charge. Maybe needle felted pictures, getting started in rag rug skills, paper flowers, small 3d etc.. You don't have to attend the teaching session, it will be optional, but aimed at regular attendees and what they would like to have a go at... The beautiful building set on the hillside is host to the local history society and photographic archives of the area adorn the wall and exhibition areas along with artefacts, so lots to see around the space. This a new way of creating a course for me so happy to see how it evolves. Are you interested enough to give a it a try out ?

Use of my equipment. May be an addtional cost for some materials depending on individual requirements. Tea/coffee & biscuits Free parking for cars. Bus 595 stops outside the Birchcliffe Centre. Train station in Hebden Bridge centre It is a fully accessible building with a stair lift and dedicated parking space. Please get in touch to disscuss any access needs.

She runs Phinefibre courses in her studio in Hebden Bridge and other venues. She has delivered and managed celebratory and public arts projects.
