Make this summer fashion bag featured in Vogue Greece. A 2 day workshop learning how to cut and link leather shapes into a fishing net inspired design. This bag is available to make in Tan, white, navy, black, chocolate brown and elephant grey. (please inform on message when booking). I would cut and prepare the long thongs in the chosen colours. You would cut on the machine the figure of 8 shapes and then learn the weaving process beginning with the handle and moving on to the body of the bag. This is a stunning bag for the summer holiday or the beach or even grocery shopping, the woven leather is strong and it flexes and expands with the contents inside. The wide woven shoulder strap distributes the weight making it a comfortable and stylish carry.

I have been a leather craftsman and maker for over 25 years. My leatherwork studio is based in the tiny rural village of Thurning which is right on the cusp of the "Shoe-belt" of Northampshire, famous as a leatherwork and leather production country. We are just down the road from the factory featured in the film 'Kinky Boots' so for any leatherwork enthusiasts out there, this is your county! I teach in a London fashion college called The Marangoni Institute where my subject is leather-working techniques for accessories for the fashion degree students there. I also do part time bespoke event tuition at Northampton University.
