About the Course
Would you like to hook this gorgeous cushion? Our next Saturday workshop is on 10th March, and our new crochet tutor, Sarah Lally, will be teaching you the skills to make these fresh daisy squares as a reminder that spring is on its way!
You'll be working in our vintage-inspired Heavenly Arts & Crafts Cafe, which has a warm and welcoming feel.
The workshop is at intermediate level, so you'll need to be able to chain, treble and double crochet confidently. It's ideal for those who have completed a crochet course for beginners, or for more experienced hookers who'd like to extend their skills or enjoy some relaxing me-time with like-minded people.
We stock a range of yarns in our Heavenly Arts and Crafts Cafe, including King Cole, Stylecraft, Cygnet, Rooster and indie brand Eden Cottage Yarns. These will be available for you to purchase, and we're happy to offer workshop attendees a 10% discount on the day only :-)
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

I really loved taking part in this course, the tutor Sarah was amazing and explained how to do the pattern when I got stuck. She's very patient, and able to go at all paces.
I joined as part of the BBO project to help me get out and be around people, the group was small of all different levels.
Would highly recommend.

Loved every minute of it. Enjoyed learning new skills. Sarah is a wonderful teacher and so patient. Lovely atmosphere created by Eliz and CLP and all the learners. I surprised myself that I could create something beautiful after only just beginning crochet recently. Thank you so much.

A lovely way to spend a Saturday in the company of like-minded people while learning new skills. I liked the way that everyone could choose their own colour choices of wool and we were free to progress at our own pace, so as not to keep faster stitchers getting fed up or slower ones panicking that they couldn't keep up. Coffee, croissants and chocolate cake were all enticing bonuses too. I'd definitely return.

I went on the course as part of the bbo project, to help me get out and meeting people. I really enjoyed the project and actually did a proper c2c 🤗🤗 I would definitely recommend any of these courses.

Really enjoyed this project. The cushion involves various stitches; double trebles, clusters, corner 2 corner, doubles, joining etc. The finished product is very effective and makes a lovely spring cushion. I especially enjoyed making the daisies!

After completing a beginner course in crochet I was delighted to join this course. It’s a lovely relaxing atmosphere with a small group. Sarah is very experienced and her patience has helped me improve my skills immensely. Each week we have a new project, learning pattern reading, using different types of yarn and techniques. The group is very friendly and I have made some lovely friends. Crochet, chat , tea and cake, what more could you ask for for a perfect afternoon!

This course is great. I moved on to this from a beginners 10week course. The tutor Sarah is showing us how to do something different each week eg. a new stitch or pattern, how to join squares, creating a border around your work. We have new projects galore to then work on at home. Would recommend this course.
