Description
Learn the peaceful and rewarding skill of green wood carving using an axe, straight and hooked knife to create your own butter/hummus spreader and wooden spoon using locally sourced wood. We will work in a beautiful woodyard shared with other skilled wood craftspeople, surrounded by beautiful fields. A inspirational spot for a day of learning. We will focus on understanding the basics of green woodwork such as tool use and grips, grain direction and design considerations to introduce you to this compelling craft. Also suitable for those with some prior experience.
