Sean
My background is teaching bushcraft and outdoor living skills to adults and young people. I started spoon carving sitting around the campfire of an evening, now I carve spoons nearly every day and have been teaching professionally for over 5 years. My spoons have sold all over the world and are in museums, art installations and private collections.
Luke Benbow (daggerandspoon)
Since 2020 I have been carving spoons, bowls and knife sheaths as well as bespoke tool rolls made from wool felt and wood (for the handle). I love the synergy of using multiple materials, but ultimately it all revolves around wood and products from the woods. Beyond a deep need to use my hands to 'create', I have an increasing need to simplify my life and be closer with nature.
