Silver Metal Clay Jewellery in a day

A super opportunity to learn how to make your own silver metal clay jewellery in our fabulous new full day workshop. Hosted by Anna Davenport, owner of Silver Nutshell Jewellery @silvernutshell and Muddy Stilettos Award Winner for Best Jeweller in Glos and Worcs 2022, Anna is a brilliant teacher and an expert on silver metal clay jewellery. You’ll learn all the skills you need and take home at least two beautiful pieces of nature inspired jewellery, such as a bumble bee pendant or earrings, perhaps featuring a dragonfly, tree of life, leaf or daisy. You’ll also have the opportunity to use delicate mandala moulds and cutters to create intricate designs, as well as learning how to create your own moulds from leaves, herbs and seashells. Bottomless teas, coffees and cakes will keep coming throughout the session & we'll stop for a relaxed tasty homecooked lunch. Once refuelled you'll be raring to get back to finish your pieces. In this full-day workshop you will discover how to… 🍃 make nature moulds 🍃 use silver metal clay 🍃 shaping and cutting 🍃 dry your metal clay 🍃 file and finish a piece 🍃 safe torch firing 🍃 polish your finished piece 🍃 use a jump ring to make a pendant PLUS you’ll have a chance to ask lots of questions and you’ll leave with at least two pieces of solid silver jewellery in a gift box. Absolutely no experience is needed and all you need to bring is a notebook if you’d like to take notes. Suitable for sensible children 12 and over when accompanied by an adult.
