Description

Have you ever wanted to make your own silver jewellery from Sea Glass? Join Fiona from Jewellery Moves for a day of making, learning and creativity. At this workshop you will learn how to saw, solder, file, hammer, hand-stamp and finish your own sterling silver jewellery. You will also learn how to make your own bezel setting and set pieces of sea glass within one of your rings and pendant. You will leave at the end of the day with at least one ring & one pendant.

About Jewellery Moves:

Taught by Fiona Dowling, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, Jewellery Moves workshops aim to teach traditional craftsmanship, jewellery skills and techniques in small groups with a relaxed atmosphere.

Materials:

The cost of the silver is not included in the course fees. The approximate cost of these materials is £30/£40 and payable to the tutor on the day (ideally in cash). You are welcome to bring your own Sea Glass but please note not all pieces will be suitable to set.

What to bring:

Please make sure that hair is tied back and bring your glasses if you wear them. Everything else will be supplied.
