Silver Jewellery Making - Wide Rings or a Pendant & Earrings

Description

During this workshop, the tutor Beccy will guide you through all the techniques to make a silver textured wide ring or a pendant & earrings. You will use silver sheet in this session which you will texture with hammers or a rolling mill. The next stage is to form your ring using a selection of pliers and then use a torch and solder to connect the ends together. Once this is done you’ll clean the metal in a citric acid bath and polishing cloths to make your piece super sparkly. Materials for 1 ring or a pendant and earrings are included in the fee. No Knowledge required Completely beginner-friendly! What you'll get Materials for 1 ring or a pendant and earrings are included in the fee. What to bring Please feel free to bring your own Laser cut paper, skeleton leaves or lace to texture the metal - but note that they will be crushed in the process Suitable for This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday or hen do.
