If you are interested in learning how to prong set cabochon stones within different jewellery pieces, along with learning basic silversmithing skills, then this is the course for you. The prong setting course is a great introduction into stone setting and is suitable for all ages and abilities. The skills you will learn during the course are how to perfectly centre and sit the cabochon within the prong setting for it to be perfectly and securely seated. In addition, learning how to select the most suitable materials and tools needed to set different stones. The course length is 2.5 hours.
