'Make a silver ring' jewellery taster workshop - Somerset

In these unique 2.5 hour taster workshops, you will be taught how to cut, shape and finish your own sterling silver ring. This workshop is a perfect introduction for anyone keen to try jewellery making using traditional silversmithing methods. Amongst other techniques, you will learn: • How to thread and use a piercing saw to cut metal • How to use a jewellers bench peg • How to solder a ring • How to finish your design ready for wear At the end of the session you will have a completely unique piece of silver jewellery made entirely by you. All tools and materials provided. Spaces are limited to a maximum of four people so book early to avoid disappointment. What's included in the price?

All tools and materials are provided. If you wear glasses/contacts for close up work, please bring them with you. We also request that anyone with long hair has something to tie it back with. Other than that, a willingness to try something new is all you need!
