I would highly recomend this course, firstly the setting was sooo beautiful. The instructors were so lovely and knowledgeable, I learned lots of skills including how to mould, cut and dye leather to make a mask I was really pleased with. I was also given worksheets and lots of advice on how I could easily repeat what I had learnt at home, and was able to buy all the tools and leather I needed too. Cant wait to do another course there again soon.

I had a great day and learned new skills. I hope to be back next year to try a different course.

The one day workshop was organised very well, equal time was spent with each of us and we were given so much information on the type of leather we were using, tools and techniques, and tips if we were to try mask making at home. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and I was really surprised that we were able to successfully create and finish a mask by then end of the session! I had a great day and would really recommend this course to everyone, even if they've never worked with leather before! It was such a great experience!

What a great day, I enjoyed every minute. Lots of very useful tips with a safe and friendly environment. The day was well constructed giving every one equal time with help using the many variations of leather craft.

A great course with lots of opportunity to learn new skills. Also a very friendly host who was able to provide information on the area and was even kind enough to arrange transport to and from the course location. A great day all round.

If you are keen on working with leather or like to be creative - take this course!
Gaynor was a great teacher. Patient and supportive - helping to develop our ideas in the workshop, showing us techniques and skills to produce a really good end result.
Also, as i have a keen interest in leatherworking, Gaynor was great at explaining the different skills used in leatherworking more widely. She's very knowledgeable and was very happy to share that valuable resource. I hope that i get a chance to take another course if i'm back in the area.
Also... did i mention that there was cake? :)

I was slightly skeptical about making a mask initially, but had a brilliant time doing this workshop! Learnt loads of new techniques, ate lots of cake, and made a beautiful mask all in good company! Gaynor was very patient, even when we took slightly longer than anticipated and was very welcoming! Would be definitely be keen to do more workshops if I'm back in the area!

I booked a one day mask making course for myself and four friends with Gaynor and was very impressed with her efficiency in dealing with pre-course admin and payments.
The one day workshop itself was well organised and structured with attention paid to timing so we all left with a finished mask. Gaynor clearly explained the materials, tools and techniques and was incredibly generous with the information given and most helpful to those of us who wanted to pursue mask making / leatherwork as a hobby.
I cannot recommend this workshop highly enough, we were all blown away by the standard of tuition and the masks we created... so I give it 10/10 for efficiency, depth of knowledge shared, professionalism, fun and resulting masks. Superb.
