Jewellery making is great fun - and just imagine being able to wear and show off your own handmade rings to friends and family! This listing is to learn how to work traditionally with silver sheet and wire to create your own beautiful rings - choose your style/s of ring from a selection, adapt them to your own size, and design preferences and make one or more completed rings (depending on your design choices) to wear home.: As this is individual tuition - the projects can be personalised to your own interests (if you're not a fan of rings, you can choose from a selection of other beginners projects) but a standard beginners day includes; -. - Creating a pair of beautiful silver rings - Learning how to plan, measure and fit the ring to your chosen finger - Creating surface pattern on the silver - Soldering to join elements together / to join your ring seams - Filing and refining your metal - Using a jewellers' (piercing) saw to cut metal - Polishing and finishing your creations ready to wear and show off! ABOUT ME; - I am a professional jeweller and adult education teacher - teaching jewellery making since 2009. I offer individually tailored 1-1 / private tuition with me at my own studio in Camden Town, London for up to 3 people at once. Teaching from my studio in central London - close to Camden Town station, I have everything you need on hand to make your own gorgeous jewellery to take away with you. I work primarily in silver, but also love to incorporate a variety of other materials in my own work - from textiles to bead to hand carved stones. I love mixing materials and techniques together so have developed a wide range of skills that I share with students. Whether you are completely new to jewellery making and fancy trying your hand, are starting at a new hobby, fancy a fun day, or already create your own jewels and want to build on and expand your existing skills, I'd love to help you create unique, professionally finished jewellery. What's included in the price?

The price listed is for a single day for one person. This includes an individually tailored schedule of projects / exercises for the day based on your own interests and experience (discussed and planned in advance by e-mail), and my undivided help and attention for the day! All the materials and information you need to complete these projects and to create your own gorgeous jewellery to take away with you are included in the price, as well as refreshments during the day. Lunch is not included, but there are many local shops and cafes, or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch. Also includes a short Zoom follow up session after the day if desired. Alternative options are available for shorter or multiple sessions, or to add additional students if desired.
