Jewellery Making - One to One Tuition

If you are interested in one to one tuition, in either silversmithing or silver clay jewellery making I am happy to discuss your requirements. In our fully equipped workshop, you will focus on an area, areas, of your choice. You can choose to work on a particular skill area, practising and improving or you may want to incorporate this into creating a piece of work that you will take away with you at the end of the day. Some people want to specifically focus on one particular technique and have as much tutored practice as possible. Remember – the day will be tailor made for your requirements.

What's included in the price?

Use of all tools is included. The workshop is tailor made for you and as such, the tasks undertaken and any resulting item made will vary, therefore, the cost of materials are not included in the workshop price. I have a stock of silver, gold, silver clay and gemstones available for purchase at cost price. All sessions are aimed at being relaxed with a plentiful supply of tea/coffee & biscuits.

I have been making jewellery since a young age. Even before studying at the renowned Birmingham School of Jewellery I was making clay beads & stringing them together. In 2019 I opened my own workshop & started offering courses in jewellery making using traditional silversmithing techniques & the comparatively contemporary medium of silver clay. I also offer one to one tuition for those looking for something tailor made to their needs. I look forward to welcoming you to my workshop.
