This course is a really enjoyable experience. Lesley is so patient, helpful and encouraging and I now have some lovely self made jewellery. Lesley showed us how she preps all the materials we were using and explained why as well as giving us useful information if we wanted to try and make stuff ourselves in future.

I loved the copper jewellery workshop. It was excellent value for money and really good fun. Lesley is extremely knowledgeable and very patient. She has great facilities and resources. She also demonstrated and explained each step so well, repeating them when we needed it. The pieces we all produced (there were 4 of us in this workshop) looked really professional. I can't wait to do another class. Highly recommend.

I was gifted a copper jewellery making course at The Bridge Studios, with Lesley. It's a bit of an odd place to find, in that you approach it (according to google) and you have to do an odd hairpin bend to find the entrance.
The course was great. Lesley was friendly and informative, her demonstrations were easy to follow and she spent time with each of us to make sure we got the technique right. We were taught a range of jewellery making skills, with the tools and I came home with 2 bracelets (one for me and one for my daughter) and earrings that I made.
I also met some lovely people who made the day enjoyable.
This is a reasonably priced course and I managed to pair it with a weekend in Cardiff. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Personally I could have stayed all day making things as she gave us lots of ideas to run with.

Brilliant course! Lesley was very helpful by email when I had questions before booking the course. She'd also sent very useful information before the course to help find the studio and to make sure that we could dress appropriately (especially as the studio is difficult to heat).
There were five of us on the course, some of whom had done jewellery making before and others who were new to it. Lesley balanced her teaching so that it was appropriate for all levels of experience.
She taught us how to use reclaimed copper wire and pipe to make a bracelet and either a pendant or earrings (some people managed to make both). She explained and demonstrated clearly, kept an eye on each of us and made sure that we were OK with what we were doing. She answered all sorts of questions and gave a lot of helpful hints and tips.
I'm delighted with the pieces that I made and hope to do more courses with Lesley in the future.
