You will make at least one piece of jewellery and get to know some useful tools and tricks and different types of wires you can use for your project.
You will have a go at forming some simple shapes such as angles to make geometric shapes as well as swirls and textures. I will show you how to work with copper, forming into shapes, and to clean and polish it.
There is a choice of gemstones or beads to use in your project or bring your own beads and jewellery to upcycle. Everything you make will be unique to you :)

A bit about me:
I just love working with all sorts crafts, designing DIY bespoke pieces for the home and I try to upcycle as much as possible to be kinder to our planet and produce beautiful handcrafted pieces.
I studied Art and Design over 25 years ago at my local college, then became a member of the North Staffs Guilds of Craftsmen where I had the opportunity to display my work. I have demonstrated some techniques of my wirework recently at one of their craft fairs.
I am a fully qualified tutor and am keen to 'boost up' your creative skills in this most enjoyable craft. Hopefully this will give you the confidence to move on to more precious metals in the future :)
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

Kami is a lovely lady very personable who I very much enjoyed doing a jewellery making course with. She really knows what she’s doing and was willing to be patient in showing me as a complete beginner. Many friends and family have been impressed with what I made.
Many thanks Kami,
I spent a lovely two hours yesterday jewellery making with Kami. Kami explained and demonstrated everything really clearly and made me feel really relaxed and confident enough to have a go myself.
I came home with a lovely handmade bracelet and two rings which I will be proudly showing off and I will definitely be having a go at making my own at home.
Response from Kamsi:
Thanks for a lovely review, Gillian.Wow what an amazing experience! I thoroughly enjoyed this course - Kami was
incredibly hospitable, patient and knowledgeable in her field of jewellery making.
I made a beautiful bracelet and ring, which I showed off later at a party. Since then, I’ve brought some equipment Kami suggested and started to make my own - I will be booking another session with Kami as her creative abilities are boundless and I want to know more!
Thank you Kami - I’ll see you again soon.

Thanks for the lovely review. You and Jan were amazing at picking up all the techniques involved in forging the rings. I do hope you'll continue with the craft and you're welcome back anytime. Please get in touch if you need more help or want to try other techniques, I'm more than happy to help :)I had this course bought for me as a birthday gift and it’s been one of the best experiences I’ve done. Kami was warm and welcoming and very multi skilled. I was able to make my very own beautiful ring which I’m really proud of and I will definitely be returning to make a matching necklace. Great company, lovely teacher and very relaxed atmosphere.
