Description
Come and learn how to use an Inkle Loom, or the smaller Ashford Inklette, to make a beautiful braid, ribbon or bookmark. It's quick, easy and fun! Workshops are held in my studio, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 10.30am - 4pm. As with all my workshops I will only be teaching 1 or 2 people per day beacuse of the coronavirus restrictions, so you'll get plenty of help and attention and be well spaced in my studio. You'll be able to take away with a finished inkle braid and lots of ideas! Equipment and yarns can be bought at the end of the course. Others Textile workshops availablewith me include: Dyeing with Synthetic and Natural Dyes, Tapestry Weaving, Weaving Scarves and Fabrics, Spinning.
What's included in the price?
The cost of the course includes a light lunch with refreshments and home-made scones. All equipment and materials will be provided, or you can bring your own. If you've been to one of my workshops before please will you leave a review. I look forward to seeing you again.

Maker
I love colour and texture and using my own hand-dyed, hand-spun yarns from natural fibres, local sheep and alpaca fleece, to create my weavings. In 1988 having been spinning for about 5 years I gained a post-graduate Diploma in Handloom, Weaving, Spinning and Dyeing at Bradford University and have been running Textile workshops for the last 25 years.
