A thoroughly enjoyable weekend in good company. Bridgette was extremely generous with her knowledge, expertise, hospitality and materials. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone. Carry on Bridgette !

-

I arrived as an absolute novice and left with a picture I could never have dreamed of making - and all the information I need to finish it off at home. Bridget is warm and encouraging, generously sharing her skills and knowledge. I loved this course and would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the process, regardless of their experience. Above all - it was great fun!

-

A wonderful two days immersed in colour, texture and learning new skills. I was able to proceed at my own pace with Bridgettes skills and guidance. I couldn't believe the second day was at an end! I came home with a beautiful piece of work and a weath of knowledge and skill.
Thanks to Bridgett, her generosity of time and skill and the lovely people who also took the course.

The masterclass was excellent. I arrived with both a challenging and a more simple picture as my inspiration for the 2 days and Bridget did not hesitate to suggest that I attempted the more challenging picture . Throughout the two days Bridget guided me on the composition of the picture sharing with me her knowledge and experience. I am very thrilled with the results and have learnt so much on how to use colour and techniques to achieve the desired results.
The 2 days were very relaxed and informative. Bridget is very generous with her time and experience providing you with confidence to have a go on your own!

-

Bridget is an inspirational teacher, she is patient and develops both experienced and novice participants. I came away with a piece of work I could never have imagined making and a set of techniques I know I will use in the future. I cannot recommend highly enough.

A very enjoyable informative 2 day course. Had a very limited knowledge about felting and the process of felting. Was shown how to build up my picture from the foreground to the front and the fine detailing after the felting process. A very relaxed and pleasant environment to learn in and Bridget is a very informative and competent tutor. Really enjoyed it!
Many thanks
Jenny

I came with the intention to learn how to portray light and shade more successfully and I certainly got the help I needed. The individual attention helped me to progress so that I now feel much more confident to tackle turning my own photographs into felted pictures.

I travelled all the way from Norway to participate in this course, and I was not disappointed. :-) I love working with textiles and have previously done some feltwork, but not as detailed as this. I learned a lot and found a lot of inspiration in Bridgette's work, as well as the other participants' projects. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to find news artistic ways of expressing themselves. Bridgette is an excellent teacher!

Very relaxing two days.

-

This was a really enjoyable way to spend a weekend. There were only four of us on the course so Bridget had lots of time to spend with each of us. Everything was very well organised and there was lots of different coloured wool to choose from. Bridget showed each of us individually how to create a colour palette and talked us through how to build a picture. Her techniques are very different from anything I have seen before - a much gentler way of working but with fantastic results. Everyone went away with a beautiful felt picture.

-

Having never tried any form of felting before I was a little worried about attending a two-day workshop. However, Bridget made me feel welcome and comfortable from the beginning. Although in an informal setting with tea/coffee and biscuits on tap, the workshop was well structured, informative and fun. All the tools necessary to create a picture were provided along with a multitude of wool choices. Plenty of individual attention meant that Bridget could (and generously did) impart techniques, tips and ideas that improved each unique style of picture. The small class number meant we had time to chat and get to know and encourage each other in our efforts. I left with a piece of feltwork I was proud of as well as a much better understanding of the art of felt picture-making. I would be very happy to recommend this workshop.

-

This was an intense 2 day course from an excellent teacher and accomplished artist. I particularly valued Bridget's fine art skills as well as her knowledge of wool and the felting process. Bridget was encouraging and reassuring and got the best out of all of her pupils. I would thoroughly recommend the course, whether you are a skilled artist/felter, or not.

-

I would thoroughly recommend this 2 day course. Bridget is a great teacher and gave each person lots of one-to-one guidance. The small group size worked really well and each person was able to progress at their own pace. I was very happy with the picture I managed to produce and have had lots of positive comments from friends who have seen it. It was really interesting watching the pictures each of the other participants created taking shape over the 2 days. I would love to do another of Bridget's courses in the future.

-

I attended this workshop with no previous experience of wet felting or knowledge of the felting process and walked away with a picture good enough to frame! The small numbers on the course (6) enabled Bridget to guide us through the process and teach us the skills required to complete our picture. The venue was great, all materials supplied, drinks and biscuits on demand, all in all a very enjoyable and successful workshop. Can highly recommend.

-

Super course. Just 6 participants so Bridget could give lots of individual attention to us. All materials and equipment supplied. Bridget is a fantastic artist and her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for working with felt was infectious. We felt she tailored her tuition to your individual needs - obviously based on the image you wanted to recreate, but also based on the level of experience you had and what you wanted from the course. Can't recommend it enough.

-

I had a fantastic weekend on Bridget's felting course. I learnt so many new things which is always exciting to do. Bridget spent time with all of us individually, and was very patient informing us of what to do. The venue was perfect. All of us on the 2 day course went away with a picture we were proud of and all of them were very different. It was nice to be able to create a picture that had special meaning for each of us. I will be back in the New Year to do another course as there is always something to learn!

-

I really enjoyed the weekend. I learnt so much from Bridget and found her to be a very good teacher. We were a small, friendly group of people who took pleasure in seeing each other's individual pictures develop. The setting was quiet and peaceful with good facilities and Bridget supplied all the materials needed. I would definitely recommend this course - it was money well spent. Thank you, Bridget.

-

I've looked forward to this workshop for some time and it did not disappoint. I had a lovely weekend with all the help and tuition I needed.
It was great fun with like minded people. I'd recommend the workshops with Bridget to anyone.
The setting was lovely and peaceful and we were lucky enough to enjoy the sunshine streaming into the room.
All in all, tip top!!

-

This course was absolutley brilliant! We were a small and intimate group which afforded maximum one to one tuition and allowed all attendees to get to know one another and become friends. The materials provided were of the highest quality and meant that our finished work really reflected the photographs they were portraying. The venue was lovely; bright and airy with good facilities and in a quiet, peacefull and accessible location. Last but not least, our tutor, Bridget, was first class! She not only taught us how to make felt pictures but also shared her knowledge, skills, tecniques and tips in a very empowering manner. I Loved the whole experience and would count it as one of the best £110 I've ever spent!! Thank you Bridget xx

-

This was a return visit as I have found them so enjoyable. Very small classes so plenty of individual attention. Other students all seem to have en interest in art and textiles and it always becomes a very friendly and informative group. The amount of tips and expertise that Bridget imparts is amazing and a lot of practical help is given so that no one is left struggling no matter how limited their experience. I can thoroughly recommend it

-

I had so much fun on this course and would highly recommend it to anyone! The location is gorgeous and serene, perfect for the activity. Camped nearby and made a weekend of it and the camping and pub were also great. I had a small amount of experience doing wet felting and felt pictures before but didn't fully appreciate until this course how much goes into creating this art. Calling it a Masterclass is definitely appropriate! Not only do you make your own beautiful piece over the weekend, but Bridget is so generous sharing her knowledge and techniques that I'm confident anyone - brand new or experienced - would learn a lot.

-

This is my second course with Bridgette. Bridgette has a wonderful eye for the colours and textures within nature. The class is a wonderful opportunity to relax, make new friends and develop fine fibre art. She knows her stuff and generously shares her knowledge to help others flourish. The class is thoroughly enjoyable and I will definitely attend another class. Thank you for a lovely weekend.
