Description
Come and join this beginner workshop to learn how to emboss on pewter. Make a raised, framed letter as well as a bookmark which will be coloured with inks. I will give insight into the process of hand embossing on metal with simple hand held tools. I'll take you through the process of low and high relief embossing on sheet pewter, which will then be aged and polished. You will then have a beautiful box-framed pewter initial to take away with you. You will also make a bookmark in pewter and embellish it with alcohol inks. No artistic ability is needed as there are traceable drawings to use. Tea and coffee will be provided. This workshop is age 16+
