Snowshill Manor is a new venue for this course, for course reviews please see 'Reviews for this maker' below. On this weekend course, you will learn basic stone carving techniques and the use of tools to methodically create your own beautifully finished limestone carving to take home with you (examples shown in our photographs). Your tutor is Miranda, a professional sculptor and qualified teacher who will help you skillfully complete a carving you will be proud of using step by step guidance, examples and demonstrations. "An excellent weekend. The Cotswold venue was beautiful, and perfect weather helped. The projects were well chosen and after basic instruction, Miranda came round and advised, corrected and helped us onto the next stage. We all (nine of us) made good progress through the weekend, and although some were unable to complete their work, Miranda showed us how this could be done at home. She was also very helpful with advice concerning stone, tools and resources."
