Electroforming for Jewellery - 2 day class
Contact course provider
About the Course
Learn how to use and set up a basic kit for electroforming jewellery items. Electroforming deposits a layer of metal (in this case copper) onto items to create a full or partial coating.
***This is related, but different from electroplating - I do not teach electroplating***
Suitable for complete beginners, or more experienced jewellers. The class runs over two sessions - half a day each, to allow time for the electroforming process to take place in-between. Part one will be designing and preparing pieces, and setting up the tank, part 2 will be retrieving the completed pieces, reviewing what worked best or not so well, and finishing off the pieces to create completed jewellery.
All materials are included, and full information on setting up your own basic kit to continue at home is provided.
Classes (maximum 4 people) are held in my central London jewellery studio and runs from roughly 10am to 2pm on day 1, then 2-5pm on day 2. New dates regularly added.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
