Ecoprinting with natural dyes with Fiona Balding at Cambridge Makers
Description
Discover the magic of combining Ecoprint with natural dyes. Participants will be amazed and delighted at the fabulous images that can be created on both paper and fabrics using the natural dyes and tannins from plants and combining them with natural dyeing. In this workshop we will explore how Ecoprint can be complimented and enhanced by the use of natural dyes and tannins. In addition to experimenting with a variety of fabrics, natural dyes and Ecoprint techniques, the workshop will include the printing of a silk scarf with natural dyes.
What's included in the price?
All tools, materials and tutoring will be provided as well as tea, coffee and biscuits. You will need to bring a packed lunch or use local facilities. You will be invited to bring your own foliage.
