About the Course

Have great fun and be inspired, learning new skills and re-using unwanted stuff. Are you interested in how you can turn a shirt that's too small into a cushion/ soft toy/? or a ripped up pair of jeans into a handbag?

My upcycling workshops introduce you to fantastic ways to transform unwanted clothes, curtains or any fabric item into something to cherish, give as a gift or to sell. A great way to spend time with a group of friends and create new ideas- all from things you used to throw in the bin or give away. No previous sewing experience is necessary as you will be taught everything you need to know. Bring along your old clothes and make them useful again.

Daytime courses starting Monday daytime from beginning June 2018 - weekend courses available on request. Small group sessions in a safe, welcoming home environment.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

Sewing machine (if you have one)
Old clothes, jeans, or any fabric you wish to use
You will need a basic sewing kit of scissors, pins and an unpicker, but I do have a small selection for you to borrow in the workshop.

An enjoyable and girlie evening in a small group lead by the lovely Ange who shares her time and experience so conscientiously between a complete beginner, an improver and a "I need guidance" sewer. A relaxing, rewarding 2 hours being guided through the stages of making your very own tote bag, teddy bear or sewing "wot not" that will ultimately lead to greater things. No previous skill needed. Definitely worth a few evenings learning something new at the same time as having valuable "me" time. Love it.
