A bit about your instructor:
I am a jewellery artist. I was born in Turkey and now live in Whitley Bay and work from my studio at the Biscuit Box Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne. I have been designing and making jewellery professionally for some time now. I have a background in landscape architecture and 3D modelling. I also have a background in teaching for more than 20 years in various settings- from one-to-one to lectures and seminars.
In my designs, I like to combine traditional silversmithing techniques with metal clay techniques. I like to utilise centuries old techniques such as mokume-gane, keum-boo and enamelling to fuse different materials together to create something unique. I am a member of the Network Artists North East, the Association for Contemporary Jewellery, and The Craft Council Directory. I am also registered with Edinburgh Assay Office where my creations are hallmarked.

I've enjoyed working with silver clay immensely and Emine is very helpful and patient and great to chat with. I can certainly recommend her workshops which are now adapted to take account of Covid and take place in a light and pleasant space.
I've completed a series of workshops and made pendants, rings, earrings and charms with silver clay and sterling silver clay. Christmas presents are sorted!
Response from Silverkupe Jewellery:Many thanks for the lovely review Jill. It was lovely to meet you and you made some great jewellery. Although we needed to have long break due to COVID-19 restrictions, eventually you have completed all your designs and you are all set for Christmas!
I had lots of fun making silver clay jewellery with emine and would definitely recommend the class!
Response from Silverkupe Jewellery:Dear Salina, many thanks for the lovely review. It was great to meet you last night and you did some very interesting pendants- beyond the beginners standard. Hope to see you again. Wishing you all the best. Emine- Silverkupe Jewellery.
