Jewellery making classes are private and for one or two people and run on Tuesday afternoons with Vanessa we can be flexible so please get in touch if you have alternative dates or times in mind. The class is aimed at absolute beginners no prior experience is necessary. We have a maximum of 2 learners per class*. With full step-by-step guidance, you will experience making a ring from scratch and will learn how to shape, solder, texture and finish your ring. *learners will be known to each other either family or friends only
What's included in the price?
- All tools and materials (sterling silver) provided to complete the project -Up to 2 hours of guided tuition with a professional jeweller (Vanessa and/or Tom) in a dedicated jewellery workshop -Refreshments provided (Tea and Coffee) -Create a wearable piece of jewellery, yours to keep forever or to gift and a jewellery box to keep your piece in. A pre-class information pack will be sent to you within 72 hours of booking

Maker
Classes are taught by Vanessa Miller & Tom Asquith in their workshop. Vanessa regularly teaches jewellery making across Birmingham, studied Jewellery & Silversmithing (HND) at The School of Jewellery BCU & returned as an Artist in Residence. Tom studied Applied Arts (BA) at Wolverhampton Uni & continued his training in Jewellery & Silversmithing at Bishopsland & has won many awards for his craft. He was Artist in Residence & Technician at The School of Jewellery BCU supporting student learning.
