Starting Thursday June 16th 2022 this course runs for 3 hours per night, 6pm - 9pm every Thursday for 10 weeks with the option to extend. Beginners and all levels are very much welcome. The emphasis is on self directed projects under the expert guidance of our highly trained tutors. Each student will be guided through the basics of jewellery making and introduced to the hand tools and equipment that are essential in the jewellery making process.
Over the course students will be given the opportunity to explore the following skills -
-piercing (cutting)
-milling and rolling
-annealing (heating)
-forming (hammering, doming and shaping)
-soldering
-sizing
-texturing
-filing
-papering (finishing process)
-polishing
Prior to the class we will send you a welcome letter and induction form via email. This will contain all the things you will need for the day. We look forward to meeting you.

Gold Plating -
If you prefer a gold finish over silver and you wish to have your finished piece gold plated we can offer this at an extra cost. Typically the cost ranges from £30.00 - £50.00 depending on size and weight of metal used.
Group bookings, wedding parties and bespoke workshops -
If you would like to book the entire workshop for a party of up to 10, please get in touch with your desired dates and group size and we can send you some options. From wedding parties, birthdays or family gatherings to corporate days or simply a private function, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 8 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Each student will be given a small amount of silver material to get started any additional materials and workshop consumables will be available to purchase via your tutor. Student are also welcome to recycled their silver or gold jewellery under the advise of the tutor.
