"I was gifted this class for my birthday and what a great gift!
I really enjoyed learning all about how resin works & how to work with resin and then made my own mini river block. Great environment to learn in and nice to be surrounded by people excited to learn as well.
Richard made this class fun and educational and will definitely be booking another class!
Would highly recommend - 10/10"
"My husband and I had already done the first ‘resin river place mat’ workshop and enjoyed it so much we were really looking forward to the second part.
We had a really good day and learned so much. I was apprehensive before I started about using the larger machinery but after Richard’s expert demonstration, advice and encouragement I was able to complete my work and even enjoyed myself. I now have new skills!
I was delighted by my finished pieces of art. I was really quite pleased with myself.
We would highly recommend these courses to anyone interested in art and crafts wanting to try something different. Thanks so much, Richard.
"Great instruction is given from creating a good mould, mixture calculations so you have no waste and tips and tricks for a successful pour and colour. Trying to find the link for the 2nd day of the course to complete the cutting and polishing not found it yet :)"
"Amazing course. Gave us the foundations and confidence to experiment with resin in the future. Great to be around like minded people! Came away with a list of do’s & don’ts - things I didn’t pick up from YouTube. Thanks so much"
"Such a good teacher in Richard. He explained everything very clearly, he engaged with all the course participants in a very friendly and helpful manner, and he inspired confidence in his presentation. We all participated and made our own mini river tables, which have to cure but I am looking forward to seeing what they look like finally, and also anticipating having a go at something at home. There is plenty to learn to be able to make things more accurately, not least colour mixing, but that is all part of the joy."
"Excellent, well led course providing everything you need to know to start making resin craft projects. The time flew, Richard is both knowledgeable and personable and created a very easy atmosphere amongst the participants. Looking forward to going to the next stage on my home projects."
"Very good course and what's most important suitable for children too! Very safe and fun. Richard was amazing, he provided lots of info about resin calculations and other important tips. He was very patient and helpful during the course. Great experience and good fun for adults and kids too! Highly recommend this place, it was enjoyable and at the same very educative."
"Really loved the epoxy resin workshop with Richard. He's a great teacher and took us carefully through the various stages, so at the end, we had created beautiful mini epoxy resin river tables. Fantastic, and I can't wait to receive it.
"Great I introduction to epoxy, suitable for complete beginners. Richard was patient, very informative, a great teacher all round! Put up with Kiran’s incessant questions and was generous with his expertise! Highly recommended."
"Good course, very informative, would have been good to have a handout for all the tips that were given during the workshop esp when it came to understanding what resin is suitable for what project and calculating the amount of resin required. I am looking forward to seeing what my piece of art looks like."
"Joined in the morning session 2/10/2021
I haven’t done anything like this before but I found it fun and informative, Richard is a good teacher. The only thing I found a bit confusing was working out the amount of resin for the amount of area. I think with practice and patience I would be able to work it out. Altogether a great morning. Thanks Richard"
"Brill. Learned how to prepare the mould, the wood and the epoxy resin in the first stage of making a pair of coasters. Very useful basic info for someone wishing to pursue this as either a hobby or business and very easy to understand. Highlighted potential pitfalls that could be very costly."
"I did this course at the weekend and really enjoyed the session. Richard is a very patient teacher and provided clear instructions throughout the class. The course is well organised and enjoyable and I would recommend to anyone wanting to try out epoxy."
"Overall very good, great fun and I learned a lot, loads of useful tips and advice. I was also very happy with the result. The only criticism I would make is that there were a lot of people on the workshop and it was fairly full on with a lot to cover - a break in the middle for tea and discussion would have been very welcome, rather than at the beginning."
"Fun afternoon. Pleased with result.. can't wait to see finished set product. My particular class was a little too large to be truly 'fun' and may have benefited from a short tea break before the resin stage to give time for everyone to catch up and digest the process so far. However, had an enjoyable day out. Thanks Richard."
