My passion is to help you unlock your creative talents, to help you develop your ideas in transforming and brightening your furniture and home, introduce you to like-minded friends at my welcoming workshops and provide a supportive, relaxed & fun environment in which to learn new skills whilst taking some enjoyable time out of your often busy life. I run FURNITURE PAINTING, UPHOLSTERY and DIY & HOME MAINTENANCE Workshops in Lancashire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester. I look forward to welcoming you to one of my workshops. "Very comprehensive course with lots of information about products and techniques which was backed up with take away notes which was brilliant as I could concentrate on what Jo was saying rather than be scribbling away making my own notes. Jo kept the day flowing at a comfortable pace and once we started painting our own pieces moved evenly through the group offering guidance and advice whilst allowing for individual creativity. I was extremely pleased with the small table I painted, it looks fabulous! The Cheadle venue is in a lovely tucked away quaint location with plenty of free parking. The home baked treats were a delicious bonus :)"

"Great one day introductory course. I learnt so many small things which, when put together, have made other projects so much more professional looking. I would have preferred to make a much larger footstool, however, my four year old granddaughter loves the one I made and has put it in her ‘den’. The course leader was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help and answer any questions. I would be happy to do further courses with her. Thank you Jo!"

"Thanks Jo for a fabulous experience of my first ever upholstery day. You were so warm welcoming and knowledgeable. Sharing the day with others of mixed experience was great …….and even though I was a bit slow at times you were very patient and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I was delighted with the end result of my functional and beautiful footstool !! Would recommend highly and will definitely look for further opportunities to develop my skills !! "
