My passion is to help you unlock your creative talents, to help you develop your ideas in transforming and brightening your furniture and home, introduce you to like-minded friends at my welcoming workshops and provide a supportive, relaxed & fun environment in which to learn new skills whilst taking some enjoyable time out of your often busy life. I run FURNITURE PAINTING, UPHOLSTERY and DIY & HOME MAINTENANCE Workshops in Lancashire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester. I look forward to welcoming you to one of my workshops. "Very good introduction to various aspects of DIY. I learnt that you can use drill bits in an electric screwdriver for a number of jobs, which I wasn't aware of - so that was a great help. Certainly helped my knowledge and gives me more confidence to tackle some jobs around the house. Jo was a very patient teacher as well. Thank you!"

"I attended a DIY course with the Boho Shed. The course was delivered by a warm and friendly lady called Jo who has lots of practical experience. The material was easy to follow and there was no fear of asking those seemingly dumb questions which were answered patiently by Jo. I would highly recommend this course for the novice or for people who want to reinforce their self confidence when tackling their own DIY. The added bonus was the beautiful cakes and tea/coffee that was available throughout the day. The course was held at the Cheadle Drill Hall. I live out of the area but found the venue easily and had no difficulty parking. Thank you, Jo, for a Sunday well spent!"

"I had a fabulous, informative day learning and trying out paint techniques with Jo at The Boho Shed. Jo was friendly, welcoming and shared her extensive personal knowledge of the paint types, techniques and tips. I’d done a fair bit of painting before but learnt a lot and got to try out new techniques with the close support of Jo. The course was in beautiful surroundings too and I had a lovely lunch at the cafe next door. Jo treated us throughout to home made cakes, closely supported our projects and ensured we had everything to hand. Highly recommend to beginners or those wanting to try out some new furniture painting techniques."
