"Had a very pleasurable couple of hours with Nick. I've carved quite alot of spoons but have only had brief tuition. I brought a couple of spoons along to discuss and where I thought I wasn't happy with some aspects of them. Nick talked me through his process, Nick is more of a production carver. He uses alot of drawer knife but the way he drew the crank on was interesting and useful, easy to follow and logical. I will try and remember the steps he showed me I think it will speed up my procesd and I might sctually have a process, Thanks Nick"

"I spent the day making a spoon with Nick. We had an amazing day, sitting in the garden, a we all succeeded in making a spoon. It was such a magical day, in beautiful setting, and Nick is a great teacher. We were all able to work at our own pace, and getting familiar with new equipment. Nick and his lovely wife looked after us all so well. I can't fault a single thing. I came away late in the afternoon, tired and so happy. If you want something that lets you clear your mind and feel connected to what you're doing in the moment, I can't sing its praises enough. I'll be coming back as soon as I can"
