"I had such a brilliant day at Jess's Women's Woodwork Workshop. The setting was relaxed and welcoming, and Jess made everyone feel at ease straight away. She explained the tools and techniques clearly, with a strong focus on safety, and then gave us plenty of hands-on time to put everything into practice. We all worked on the same project, which was a great way to learn step by step together. Jess was patient, encouraging, and always ready with helpful guidance whenever anyone needed it. By the end of the day I not only had a sturdy finished piece to take home, but also the confidence to start thinking about tackling more projects on my own. The workshop was really well organised, with all tools and materials provided, and the endless supply of tea, coffee, and biscuits kept everyone going. I'd highly recommend it to anyone curious about woodworking, whether you're a complete beginner or just want to build a bit of confidence - and I'm already looking forward to going back for the more advanced workshop. "

"My second course with Mark, having previously completed a box making one. I really enjoy Mark’s approach; he provides expert guidance and advice, whilst letting you get familiar with the processes, tools and techniques at your own pace. It’s a fun and supportive environment, with all the necessary tools and equipment. I left on the Friday afternoon with a beautiful piece of furniture. I will definitely be back for another go and thoroughly recommend any of these courses with Mark."

"Great value for money. You get a highly qualified teacher with a lovely personality. She was encouraging and supportive. As total beginners we went on to produce an orginal piece of work under her guidance and whilst she calmly helped with any problems you were allowed to express yourself in any way you chose. There were many threads and wools you could use all I clouded in the price. This course is accessible to all including those with disabilities as the teacher had purchased an adjustable loom."

"Can't recommend Fiona enough. Had an absolutely lovely day learning about eco printing. As a complete beginner, I was delighted to have some many pieces to bring home at the end of the day. We tried lots of different materials (silk, cotton, papers) and learned about different colour methods. I love how Fiona is so environmentally conscious in how she approaches everything- recycling materials in innovative ways. The tea breaks were a nice chance to chat, and the baked goods were especially appreciated. "

"Had a great day with Bryan and his helpful team. Very relaxing and informative. Learnt a lot about paper making with plants, and from recycled paper. The venue is delightful, rustic, with a flower nursery next to it. Tea, coffee and goodies at hand, though out the day if required. Took home different types of paper, and some heart shaped ones. No pressure, you could make as many or as little as you wanted. A really lovely course. Thank you team Bryan."
