John Brook-Smith reviewed: Create a mosaic in a day in Yorkshire with professional mosaic artist Sue Kershaw

"Had such a brilliant day mosaic-ing with Sue. Really well thought out instruction and all the kit required (including brews!). Sue took the time to ensure everyone understood the techniques involved, answered any questions and ensured everyone was progressing throughout the day. Can't believe how quickly the 6 hours flew by! Beautiful venue nestled out of the way, with all COVID precautions thought of. Came away with an amazing keepsake and memories of a lovely day. Would highly recommend this workshop."

Emma Fish reviewed: Silver metal clay taster course

"Had a fantastic time on the course. I was a bit worried that I might not be able to do it, not having done anything like this before, but Michelle was very welcoming and helped me with my design ideas so that I could create something I really love! Everything you need is supplied, and Michelle took us through the process step by step, with easy to follow instructions and extra support where needed. This course would be great to do with a friend or in a group, but is equally fun to do as an individual, and no need to feel nervous if you're attending on your own like I did. Give it a try!"

Buttercup Jewellery responded:

"Thanks for your lovely review Emma. I'm so glad you had a lovely time and that we found a way to make your special pendant. It was my pleasure to help you discover the magic of metal clay! ? Michelle x"

Maggie Boston reviewed: Silver Clay Jewellery Workshop - Beginner - 1 Day - One to One

"I had a thoroughly enjoyable day with Rachel in her wonderful workshop (very envious of it!). Upon arrival I was greeted by a lovely little welcome sign guiding me to the parking and workshop, which I thought was a very nice touch. She is a very friendly and relaxed person, with a lovely personality who makes you feel at home right away, and has a huge amount of knowledge to pass on. The morning was spent getting to know the tools, different techniques and how to make moulds. Then in the afternoon I was able to go ahead using the knowledge gained in the morning to produce several pieces which I then attached to a lovely little kilt pin brooch. I was thrilled to come away with my own piece of handiwork and feel very proud of it. Having already been given a Silver Clay starter kit as a present I now can't wait to start producing more lovely silver items. Thank you Rachel - I hope to come back and see you again :-)"

Gifted Crafts Company responded:

"Thank you so much for your feedback. So thoughtful of you to take the time. It was an absolute pleasure, you produced some beautiful pieces and I look forward to seeing you again! All the very best. Rach"

Brian Fawcus reviewed: Experimental Printmaking inspired by Mid Century Design in Derbyshire

"I came away from the course feeling highly inspired to continue printmaking, using the techniques we had experimented with. Liz got us printing very quickly and we came away with a great variety of prints created during the day. Highly recommended!"

Liz Wellby - Artist, Teacher & Maker responded:

"Hi Brian, Lovely to work with you at last and I really appreciate your taking the time to let me know about your day. You have taken to printmaking like a duck to water, so I think you’ll really enjoy continuing to explore block printing/lino cutting and printing, especially with those cracking cutters you have. Get a few single colour prints under your belt and I’ll lure you back to The Slipper Studio for a 2 colour print workshop. Best wishes Liz Wellby"
