"What a fun day! With great instruction from Liz we were able to freely experiment with colour, shape and technique. This was a lovely opportunity to relax with my daughter and 'play' with a new process. We were happy to take our work home and actually have pieces that look quite good! Both my daughter and I would recommend this day course as it was good fun, in a relaxed atmosphere, it was well prepared and thought out by Liz. Currently feeling encouraged and inspired :)"

"I attended an online one-one photography tuition with Richard Piper in March 2023. As a beginner myself, I found his approach extremely instructive and motivating. I was met at my own level and given critique using a small sample of images of my own. He then used images from his collection to illustrate the importance of both the tangible “tools” and intangible “talents” essential to developing good technique and creativity, tailored to my areas of interest. He has remarkable teaching skills which became apparent as I reflected on the breadth of knowledge he had shared during that tuition, laying a solid foundation for me to pursue. I wish to express my gratitude as well as highly recommend his expertise, at whatever level one may be. "

"I attended a two day course with Jo which was a birthday treat from my family. I really wasn't sure what to expect but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Jo guided me through each step, patiently and professionally. She was so kind and kept us all topped up with tea and kit- kats throughout the two days. The studio is set in a beautiful garden and I enjoyed taking a stroll at lunchtime. I am delighted with my sculpture of the stargazing hare which sits perfectly on my balcony at home. Many thanks!"

"I bought this course as a gift for my friend Jemima for her birthday. I had such an amazing time- thanks Annie and Izi! Annie and Izi gave us an introduction tour of the workshop showing us the equipment we would be able to use and the scrap metal we would be able to choose bits from. It was great fun hunting through all the bits and pieces and thinking about how to join them all together. Annie and Izi explained which bits I had chosen could be welded together and which would have to be bolted. Out of a valve body for an automatic gear box, a bike chain, forks, washers and other bits of scrap I made an owl to go on my wall (which I love). Annie and Izi were really helpful but also let me crack on with using the equipment when I felt confident. I had great fun using the mig welder and the angle grinder- I even been looking up how much they are to buy since I got home 🤣 Loved this course so much! Thanks guys! Highly recommended! "

"A huge Thank You to Marianne for taking on board my ladies from Switzerland 🇨🇭 on their Visit Kent tour. We had a fantastic evening learning the basic techniques of Willow weaving and couldn’t believe how good the finished products were! Marianne is simply a lovely person to do such an activity with! Calm, reassuring, patient and attentive. It was endearing to witness her attachment to the environment and the Cowshed / workshop was the perfect place to make our willow plates/ trays and bird feeders.
