Catriona Waters reviewed: Learn To Crochet On The Norfolk/Cambs Border

"Sue is an excellent teacher of Crochet, and produces her own informative booklets to take you through whatever stage you are tackling from the very basics such as double crochet, working in the round, then in squares, right through to the intricacies of Tunisian Crochet, until you reach the heights of making beautiful stuffed animals with looped crochet for fur etc. Sue has a great sense of humour and not only will you learn heaps, her anecdotes are wonderful, often funny, and you feel like you have had the most fantastic day; you achieve loads, and have fun doing it. What more could you ask?5 x *"

Catriona Waters reviewed: Learn To Kumihimo (Japanese Braiding) On The Norfolk/Cambs Border

"Sue and Debz are experts at Kumuhino, and under their aegis, I learnt first to do different braids using different yarns, and then we started to use beads as well. The results were some stunning pieces of jewellery which I was SO thrilled to have made. Sue has loads of patience, and even if you forget the direction that you are heading or lose track of a bead, she will help you to back track, explaining where the slip came so you know how NOT to repeat it.I have thoroughly enjoyed learning at Primrose crafts. 5/5"

Jackie Jones reviewed: Art & Craft Days - Stained Glass Stars for Christmas

"I had a lovely day making copper foiled glass stars. It was so absorbing and a lot of fun and I am very proud of my stars. Carol has years of experience and guided us through the processes step by step. We had plenty of time to practice glass cutting before going onto the real thing, and I never thought that soldering could be so much fun! Carol gave us individual attention and was always there to lend a hand when needed. The food, as always, was just delicious. Brian and Julie make you feel so welcome. I had a great day, thank you."

Aaron Mahiban reviewed: Beginners 10 week woodworking course NO LONGER RUNNING

"Ciaran's class is both fun and very helpful to improve woodworking skills. Though I took the beginners class, it felt as though I was learning fairly advanced techniques. The final product we produced also looks great thanks to Ciaran's instruction. I highly recommend the 10 week course to anyone insterested in improving their skills. Worst case is you will be in good company for a few hours every week! Thank you so much Ciaran, I had a blast learning from you; it was worth coming all the way from Canada for the course ;)"

Michael White reviewed: Five day woodwork course - wood

"I have always loved wood but never had the chance do do any workworking at school so here I was, recently retired, with the opportunity to go all the way to The Lakes to go back to being a 15 year old again on a course called "Tools & Things". This was drive that was really worth it. Richard and Mark do not hang about with introductory lectures - you get straight into it. I was making a step stool and started measuring up when it dawned on me that I just had a pile of wood and how on earth was it all going to go together! Richard and Mark took me through it step by step by showing me how to do a particular task and then saying over to you. I made a point of trying out all the different joints by hand and now have a much better appreciation of what is involved in this wonderful world of wood. Thanks Richard and Mark and I cannot recommend the course highly enough."

Carole Harker reviewed: Mosaic making class

"My friend and I joined Dawn for one of her mosaic courses recently and had a fabulous time. Dawn is very easy going and put us at ease straight away. She took us through the course step by step and during the breaks offered us homemade delights, homemade soup, bread and the most delicious cake!! We stayed over in her guest house, which was lovely and spotlessly clean. Had a wonderful breakfast and finished off our mosaics. I would recommend this course to anyone, even if they don't think theyrw very 'crafty', well worth the money and a great Christmas gift idea. Thank you Dawn, we will be back!"

Phil Millichap reviewed: Introduction to Green Wood Furniture Making - 2 Day Course in South Devon

"Went to build skills not a stool or low table and was not disappointed. Wood is lovely tactile material to work with given the right tools and skills. The course provides excellent opportunity to learn some of those skills and understand and use many of the tools, while many require a "knack" Peter and J provided right input at the right time! The course is hopefully a beginning, at least have ordered some of the tools!! Highly recommended."

Aimee Kirkham reviewed: Amazing encaustic art day course

"I have just booked onto my forth workshop with Phil, which should be a testament itself to how truly amazing he is as a tutor and how enjoyable he makes wax encaustic art! Phil took me through the basics in the first couple of sessions, enabling me to create a beautiful landscape image and then we went through some experimental techniques with a heat gun, which is so much fun. He is ever so patient, explains things excellently (through demonstration and verbally) and has great wit, which makes him very easy company and his own encaustic art is unbelievable - he has a real talent. If you're anything like me, you won't just want the one session, it's such an addictive art form that I'll be continuing my sessions with Phil for as long as the bank balance allows! I 100% recommend this course for anyone who wants to try a art form that's a bit different and likes experimenting."
