We have a number of different projects for you to choose from including mug warmers, purses, small cuddly toys, ear warmers etc.
Classes are run for individuals or small groups of up to six people and can be arranged at a time to suit you.
Follow up classes to build on and expand your new found skills are also available.
Primrose Alpacas and Craft School is a small family run business set in a tranquil farm setting located just outside Downham Market near the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border.
We have a small herd of alpacas and llamas onsite who are an absolute delight to be around. These wonderful creatures are friendly and inquisitive and love saying hello to new people. Alpacas are bred for their beautiful quality fibre which is extremely soft and light whilst still being strong and durable. Come and feel the difference between some raw alpaca and sheep fibre you will be amazed at just how soft our gorgeous alpaca fibre is. Many of our Fibre Craft classes use the fibre from our herd amongst other mediums so you may be able to meet the animal who has grown the item you have just made! During your visit you are welcome to meet our lovely herd of alpacas and llamas and we can tell you all about these wonderful fibre producing animals.

I attended a beginners crochet course and found it excellent. As a left hander I booked a one to one course, and found that more beneficial. The tuition was just the right level and speed. The highlight was visiting the alpacas and learning about them. You can also see them from the craft cabin!

We had an excellent three hours with the ladies at Primrose Craft School. They were extremely patient and talented ladies. I was able to come away confident that I could crochet some simple patterns on my own. Thank you for an excellent start into the world of crochet!
