"Thank you, Adrian, Andy & Debbie for a great day, friendly and educational we felt at home from the outset. Excellent tuition from true craftsmen, helping us to create decent representations of the key ring and dragon coat hooks, fuelled on by some great home cooking and good banter. Brilliant. Cheers, Alan, Carl & Kieran."

Bertha reviewed: Glass fusing private class - fun taster class for beginners

"I went along with a friend to the taster lesson. This was my first experience of glass fusing and has been a fun start. Sarah began the session with an introduction to the basic glass cutting tools and techniques. Then she demonstrated layering to make a simple piece of jewelry. Whey my pendant was being fired in the microwave kiln, she explained different fusing materials and their unique effects. I'm pleased with what I could achieve in 2 hour. Meanwhile I'm fascinated by the broad subject of glass fusing. I've managed to use 2 fusing materials for my sun catcher; I'd love to see my friend's which used materials different from mine. Since the course, I try to learn about from a couple of websites and I'm considering of taking more sessions to try out different fusing materials."

Sarah Silvester reviewed: One day bangle/ring workshop

"We had an amazing day at Jolene's studio for a bangle making workshop as part of my cousin's hen party celebrations. Jolene made us feel so welcome and comfortable. She was very good at explaining different techniques and gave lots of support and encouragement along the way. We were amazed at what we were able to achieve having no previous knowledge or experience of jewellery making - the bracelets we made were all beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. Jolene is wonderful at what she does and I highly recommend these workshops - worth every penny! Thank you Jolene!"

Mateusz reviewed: Contemporary stool making weekend course

"Sharp tools and wit, better than a meditation retreat, I promise. The venue is insanely well located, so if not for woodworking ( which Ambrose makes so easy), go for the location- a couple days in heaven... Utter picturesque hobbit land with thatched roof Airbnb just did it for me. Sure all participants made it back home not only with a stool each, but with a bag of memories too. I had fun there. A lot."

Philip Earl reviewed: Wood turning courses in the Midlands

"I and a friend, both outright beginners, enjoyed a long and fairly intensive day with Mark at his workshop. The day's course was well structured and supported by detailed notes as we we worked through the day. We both came away feeling that the basic processes were covered in detail which led to a greater understanding of how wood turning should be approached from a technical and safety angle. Mark's patience and teaching ability has certainly encouraed my appetite for a greater involvement in woodturning, which I can approach with some confidence and anticipation of eventually producing some reasonable turned work. Many thanks Mark."
