Weave a No-Sew Hat or ‘Muffler’ Scarf Your chance to make something warm and wearable. In this short and accessible workshop you can choose to make a cosy hat or short cowl-style scarf with a button. Alternatively, you can use the time at the loom to explore and make a SAORI weaving to take home

What's included in the price?

All materials are included in the price. You'll be using a loom prepared with a cotton or wool warp, which forms the base for your weaving. I have a large range of weft yarns for students to use. For this workshop, I suggest using mainly wool blends for cosiness but other materials are also available. You are, of course, very welcome to bring your own yarns, ribbons, odds and ends to include in the weaving too! Please bring a packed lunch, or, if you prefer, there are lots of cafes and shops nearby to buy food. We have a kettle for hot water but do not have a microwave at present. For refreshments I provide tea, herbal teas, coffee and oat milk.
