Willow piglet/ small pig workshop with Jacqueline Rolls (Queen Elizabeth Country Park)

Description

I am thrilled to be leading the Willow Piglet Workshop. During this creative and engaging class, participants will learn how to make charming piglets out of willow withies. I will guide the group through the process, providing step-by-step instructions and tips for shaping the stems into a piglet form. At the end of the workshop, you will have a unique and adorable willow piglet to take home and display. Whether you are an experienced crafter or a beginner looking to try something new, this workshop is a fun and rewarding way to unleash your creativity and learn a new skill. I look forward to sharing my love of willow weaving with you and helping you create a unique keepsake to treasure for years to come. As we all work at different speeds, I aim to get you to the stage where you have created a recognisable sculpture that you feel confident to carry on at home should you wish to do so if you haven't completed it in the session. Please note if this is your first workshop using Willow, working with Willow can be tough on the hands, so if you struggle with hand strength, pinching, twisting movements etc., please do contact me in advance to chat about whether the workshop will be suitable for you to attend. If you are not sure, feel free to contact me If you have any questions, please click 'message the tutor'. If you need to cancel the workshop after the four weeks cancellation period has gone, please get in touch with me as I may be able to transfer your booking to a different class or fill the space
