The workshop will be at Cowshed Creative, based in a converted Cumbrian barn on our traditional Lakeland Farm. The art studio is a stunning open plan space with plenty of room to wander outside and take inspiration from the amazing Lakeland landscape and environment of the peaceful Kentmere valley. Make it a special break and stay in one of our luxury camping pods on the farm. Check our website for availability.
All our tutors are carefully selected professionals and experts with extensive teaching experience. Whilst this is a relatively new venture, George, who has set up Cowshed Creative, has many years of experience programming and running creative courses at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal and for Cumbria Adult Education.

A brilliant course. Hazel is a great teacher, she explains things clearly and thoroughly and has wonderful examples. She could interest and cope with all abilities, knows so much about felt, gave lots of inspiration and had amazing books about felt. The Cowshed is a lovely space, the fire was lit, lots of homemade delicious food including gluten free yummies. In all I felt very looked after and thoroughly enjoyed the day, just ace, totally recommend.
Response from Cowshed Creative (Kentmere Farm Pods and Creative Courses):Thanks Sue. I've passed all your lovely comments on to Hazel. So impressed by the stunning work everyone made. Hope to see you again.
