Description
Weave a willow flower decoration for your garden. During this relaxed workshop, you will be introduced to the basic tools and techniques of willow weaving. I'll show you how to make a simple basket base, which forms the centre of the flower, before making the petals and stem ready for you to take home and decorate your garden. About the venue The workshop will take place in my studio at Maws Craft Centre in Jackfield, Shropshire. You'll get a chance to have a look around my workshop, including some of my stock items, commissions, work in progress, and my mini-library of weaving books. Maws Craft Centre is a bustling creative hub, just along the river from Ironbridge. There's lots of artist studios and gallery spaces for you to have a wander around during your lunch break.
