Singing lessons will include learning a range of warm-up and technique exercises to enable the singer to be using their voice correctly. Lessons will be centred around learning pieces of music that the student would like to learn, or from books and songs that I can advise on. Lessons will focus on what the student would like to get out of the lesson, whether it is technique, composition or learning a new song.
Refreshments of water and tea are available!

I absolutely love going to my singing lessons with Laura! I have been going for around 2 months now and have noticed a massive difference in my range and confidence when it comes to singing. Laura is so nice and her knowledge is exceptional. I have learnt so much about my voice and breathing, I wouldn’t stop these lessons for nothing!
Laura quickly makes you feel at ease with her calm, patient and friendly approach.... She is very thorough and works really hard to ensure that you get the most from each session...
I have been singing for many years in a 'low-key' kind of way (solos at friends weddings and christenings etc). Now, at the age of nearly fifty a friend of mine asked me to perform a 40 minute set at a festival she is running (up to 200 people - only friends and family). Excited, but slightly nervous I thought I'd better have some vocal coaching for the first time. I found Laura online and chose her as I was impressed by her qualifications.
Laura's approach is great. She is gentle and encouraging; very good at giving feedback/improvement suggestions in a motivating way, and her experience and knowledge is well beyond her years. She is clearly passionate about helping people improve in whichever way they want - and that passion has helped with my motivation too.
I have gained top tips on moving between head and chest voice, attacking head voice notes in a powerful way and bringing more expression into songs. Laura also helped me with the set-list order, and will be helping me with microphone technique as the festival draws nearer.
Laura's sessions are fun, engaging and highly effective. I recommend her to anyone wanting to improve.
Laura is passionate about singing but very empathetic to your needs, and is very happy for you to sing any style and pick your own songs.
Laura always has a welcoming smile which gives you confidence even when you are full of nerves.!
I love my lessons and have learned a lot, feel so much more relaxed and always look forward to the next one.
