About the Course

This workshop offers the chance to work with silver sheet and wire to create a mini-collection of jewellery, including pendants, earrings or rings, the choice is up to you. Bring along ideas and inspiration and we will work together to design and make silver jewellery for yourself or as a special gift for someone for Christmas.

Processes covered in the day will be soldering, piercing, the use of cold connections, finishing and polishing. There will be a selection of semi-precious gemstone beads which can be used to embellish your designs if you so wish.

Tutor Kathryn Arbon has been designing and making jewellery for twenty years. For the majority of that time she was resident jeweller at Walford Mill Crafts in Wimborne. Now having settled in West Dorset she is focusing on teaching and developing new collections of jewellery.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
