Take a break from the rat race : small group, relaxed company; time to finish a small project if you are so inclined or start one to finish later.
Arrive after 5pm on Friday evening: dinner is at 7.30 and you can choose from their selection of local beer, wine or cider.
On Saturday we work on our up-cycling projects (hooking and progging) from after breakfast until about 6pm with breaks for a light lunch and refreshments. Enjoy keeping this vintage craft alive - our grannies recycled their worn clothes to make mats for their cold floors. Sometimes they put rugs on their beds at night.....brrr!

There will be tools to try and or buy, plus hessian backing - a piece for a small project is included as are beverages and meals.

Really enjoyed the day. Jenni explains everything very clearly and she was on hand all day to answer questions. She showed us examples of her work and was very supportive. The group was relatively small, which actually made it even nicer!
Response from Jenni's Rag Rugs:It's easier to help individuals with a small group. I enjoyed the day too with such interesting women who worked hard at their progging and hooking.
Great course very inspirational
Jenni's courses are such a treat and so inspirational. This course is set in the most beautiful tranquil location and the lunch is amazing. The course is very well taught and provides the perfect balance of teaching, free practice and individual tuition. Jenni is very helpful but not overbearing or bossy!
This is my second course with Jenni and I have loved both of them. Thank you
Have ever thought about a rag rug making course? Will I can highly recommend jenni's rag rug course it is fantastic. Very clear helpful instructions, with all the necessary equipment provided on the day to get you started. If you become hooked! Great Course - I am now hooked and rag rugging away merrily! Jenni's
instructions very clear and tips on how to combine different colours and
weights of textiles helpful. The day flew by and we learned progging as well
as hooked rugs - inspirational !. Setting very pleasant with plenty of light
to work by, congenial company and delicious refreshments, a real treat.
