About the Course
Hi, I've been teaching needle felting for three years and run a variety of workshops. All are currently at The Hive, a lovely family run haberdashery-cafe in Shepton Mallet.
Using special needles and different sorts of carded wool (pre-spun), a vast variety of 2D and 3D items can be sculpted. It's an incredibly versatile and simple craft that is highly addictive!
Learn different techniques, suitable for beginners and more advanced. Autumn to Winter themes are: teddy-bears, sheep, foxes, witches and warlocks, mice, penguins and polar bears, autumn and winter wreaths, angels, snowmen and reindeer.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
Workshop length is 2 hours (£25 including starter kit or £20 if you have your own needles and work-base) and includes all the materials you need to make one 3D item plus you get a complementary drink.
The Hive is a lovely family run haberdashery-cafe so come and make a day of it.
As a complete beginner i signed up with very little expectations of my own ability. Jo was lovely and immediately made me feel welcome. The friendly atmosphere of the group of v different abilities encouraged and supported everyone equally. The Hive venue was perfect as equally relaxed. I've now attended two w/shops and signed up for a third! I'm hooked. Thank you for sharing your skills Jo and being such a great teacher x

Response from The Nourishing Lives Foundation:Thanks very much for your review Lyn. It's great you're enjoying your new hobby so much - needle felting is great fun isn't it? And you're picking up the new skills really well. Lovely to have you join in, looking forward to seeing you next month for more 'stabbing'!
