Make a Needle Felted Summer Scene with guest tutor Cath Smith of Hedgehog and Hoot. Dive into a wonderful woodland with this Summer needle felting workshop. Make a beautiful landscape on a pre-carded background, using basic needle felting techniques. Your picture will be ready to gift or display! – Learn how to safely and effectively use both a multi needle felting tool and a single needle. – How to lay down a wool/fibre background. – How to add details to personalise and add interest to a landscape. Stitch work or beads can be added to embellish your picture further. Your piece can be displayed as a picture, used to make a book cover or an embellishment for another project. Due to the “Ready to Go!” background this is suitable for all abilities. Suitable for ages 10+. Children 16 & under must be accompanied by a participitating adult.
