Join us for this delightful workshop and discover how to needle felt one of the UK's most adored nocturnal creatures - The Hedgehog. This hedgehog nestled in a bed of Autumn leaves makes a unique centrepiece for any nature table and also pairs beautifully with other Autumn treasures such as mushrooms and acorns The workshop takes place at The Oast Studio - a lovely rural creative space set within the Ashdown Forest near Hartfield, East Sussex. Master Felter Cecily Kate will guide you every step of the way even if you are completely new to needle felting. During this workshop you will learn... How to create the core shape out of wool, capture the character of the hedgehog's snout and make its eyes twinkle using wool fibres alone (we do not use polystyrene forms) How to cut a pattern for its protective coat of needles. How to blend and grade your wool colours How to needle felt all the elements together
