What a lovely morning! Needle felting is totally absorbing and anyone can do it!! It was wonderful to concentrate on making something. Georgie is an excellent teacher making sure that no one was left behind and in no time at all we had acquired the skills and were just absorbed in creating our animals. Each one so different and oozing personality! Georgie’s home was a haven of peace, lovely chat, brownies and great coffee. It was hard to leave. Will be back!

Response from Georgies Felted Friends:Thank you Polly for your review and I am so pleased you enjoyed making a needle felted Donkey for your Christmas Nativity.
I did an afternoon course and absolutely loved it. Arts & crafts isn't normally my thing because I'm fairly cack-handed but in the end I was actually delighted with my little bunny. It was amazing to see how everyone was given the same materials and the same instructions but each person came up with something that was a totally different character. Would recommend to this course to anyone, I was utterly absorbed and the time flew by. Thanks Georgie!

I so enjoyed learning to needle felt with Georgie. I was in a full class of six people (of varying crafting skills!) and we had great fun. Georgie was an excellent and patient teacher and, amidst the laughter and chat, we all concentrated and came away with ballerina mice. They were all sweet, very individual and full of character. I think we were all rather proud of what Georgie had helped us to create.

Response from Georgies Felted Friends:I am so glad you enjoyed the course Mary. You made a beautiful ballerina mouse and it was a lovely group to host.
I had the most wonderful morning doing a needle felting course with Georgie. I’m not a ‘crafter’ and have never done anything like this before so didn’t know what to expect, but I loved every minute of it. It was the most fantastic way to take a break from life, to really concentrate on something and allow my mind to relax into an almost meditative state. I was really proud of my little mouse and have become quite attached to him! Georgie is an amazing teacher, brilliant at explaining and very encouraging. Her home is lovely and we had delicious cake and tea and a lot of laughs - it was great fun. Thanks Georgie!

I've done 2 courses now - wonderful escapism! Really loved getting stuck in to doing something totally different. Georgie is very patient and complementary to encourage you along - and despite not thinking of myself as creative I surprised myself at what can be achieved!! Can't wait to get back to make a zebra - hopefully a whole wildlife park in future!!

Response from Georgies Felted Friends:Thank you for booking into the Zebra course Claire.
I have now done 4 courses. They have all been great fun with a lot of laughter. I am the least crafty person on the planet but I surprised myself that I could create something that almost resembled the brief! On one course the task was to make a mouse. Mine didn’t quite turn out like that; I like to call it a poodle mouse (possibly a world first) but I am enormously proud of it. It’s addictive and I would recommend the course to anybody.

Response from Georgies Felted Friends:Thank you Tom for your review.
A really good course. Learnt how to make felted mice for the Christmas tree, rabbits for an Easter table decoration and curly fleeced lambs for a gift. Only thing is, I didn’t then want to give them away! Relaxing, fun and a sense of achievement. Highly recommended.
