We offer chalk paint workshops for beginners. Please see our website or Facebook page for full details, dates and times etc. PLEASE NOTE the above price applies to a beginners course - get in touch for more details of our intermediate course.

- Introduction to Painting with Chalk Paint (usually 10.30am - 1pm) - Working on boards using chalk paints, Jane will teach you the techniques needed to master the Shabby Chic look and how to use the waxes to enhance this or a more contemporary style. Finishing it off with a selection of stencils this course will inspire you to up-cycle even the most tired looking items. Using chalk paint, waxes and stencilling.

- Intermediate Furniture Painting with Chalk Paint (usually 10am - 3pm) - Following on from what you have learnt in one of our beginners courses (or if you have previous experience of using chalk paints), come and join a small group of enthusiasts for our intermediate furniture painting course. Please bring a small item from home to work on e.g. lamp base, mirror, small side table and we will provide a 2nd item to work on along side.

Under supervision you will have the opportunity to put into real practice the techniques you have already learnt. Whether you choose a Shabby Chic look with some craquelure, or stencilling and gilding, there are many wonderful combinations.
We will provide a lovely selection of paints to suit your colour scheme and all other materials. By the end of this enjoyable session you will go home with 2 fully completed items and a smile! Using chalk paint, waxes, stencilling, gilding, craquelure and decoupage.

What's included in the price?

Tea & Coffee and materials provided for both workshops. Please bring an apron.

For the Intermediate workshop a small item is included but please bring an additional small (e.g. lamp base, storage box, small table, stool, etc) item from home to work with, along with some lunch.
