X

Description

An adult (18+) workshop aimed at beginners or first time felters with tutor Natalie Harris (Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies. This workshop is aimed at beginners and people new to needle felting. We will be making a honey pot with two bees buzzing around it. Your admission to Moseley Old Hall is included in the price of the workshop (please check their website for opening times). In the morning (10.30-12:00) the basics of what type of wool and needles are best for sculpting will be explained and then you will use some basic techniques to make the base sculpt of your honey pot. We will break for lunch and an opportunity to get some fresh air in the grounds at 12.00. We will then return at 13:00 to finish the pot add the bees and the finer details. Booking is essential, £25 per person. Note that as Moseley Old Hall is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel and you will have to negotiate some stairs. Should the workshop be postponed for any reason, you will be given a voucher which can be redeemed at a later date (at any venue Natalie teaches). Full workshop terms and conditions can be found on the notes section of my Facebook page or are available upon request.
